Hanoi (the capital) has the best living conditions in Vietnam

If there is, it would be in the north, like in Hanoi. Saigon heat and humidity is the worst I've seen, much much worse than anything on the US east coast or south.

I prefered Hanoi although I was there only once compared with Prey Nakor (the original Cambodian name for Saigon, or Ho Chi Minh City as it is called now). I never liked Saigon and I was there a number of time both during the Second Indochina (Vietnam) War and afterwards.
