It depends on what type of life style you want. I was just in HCMC last week and enjoyed Vietnam. HCMC is a crazy busy city. To give you an example of the cost of living here are what some things cost. A good meal will cost you $1.50 - $4.00. A 2 liter bottle water cost $.25. Stay at decent hotel cost $25-35 a night. Taxis across town cost $5-$15. Motorbikes are way cheaper. Hope this helps. If your visiting stay at Bich Duyen Hotel in the backpacker area. Best place to stay.

Hi Jennifer: To live in HCMC, you probably need some where around 7 to 10 million vnd. Which is around $400 - 500 usd per month. Though with that budget, you cannot go out party every night. It really depending on where you are. If you want to live in HCMC, you probably have to get off some of the tourist area... and stay in place like district 10 or 11, little bit further from district 1 to get some better prices. Well, walking, jogging or pogo-sticking is out of the question. Have you considered sailing or flying? A travel agent can help you make the arrangements.

Who can I talk to in San Diego about the Vietnam War

Who can I talk to in San Diego about the Vietnam War?
I am piecing together a small documentary in school, and I would really like to talk to both an American soldier serving in Vietnam, and someone living in Vietnam that came to America (preferably, if they came to America because of Operation Frequent Wind.) Can someone help?

You should try looking for veteran places such as hospitals, resting homes etc. and ask for permission. Also, try your family or maybe even your friends family... You never know.
2 :
Seek help from members of American Legion, VFW, DAV, Military Order of the Purple Heart, NCOA, USAA, AUSA, etc.... Hell, YOU have USMC & Navy Bases there in San Diego!!!

Some of your friends may have a relative who served in Vietnam. Ask around. A good place to ask would be these: Vetran's Museum & Memorial Center Open Tuesday through Saturday 9:30AM - 3PM and Sundays 10AM - 3PM Telephone: (619) 239-2300 Mount Soledad Vetran's Association http://www.soledadmemorial.com/
