Japan is very monocultural and ethnocentric. They scoff at foreigners, in general, and with the contention some have about blacks, you might get an extra sneer or two. In Vietnam? I have no idea. My husband is half-Vietnamese and we're planning a trip there one day. I'm scared though. I've seen pics when his mom went over and she lived in a small village and the food looked a bit shady.

Fine. There is already a community of them, especially in Japan. There are Black men in Hue and Saigon Vietnam, though not many. Just go.

Im getting ready to leave for japan in 2 months. and people are always trying to make japan sound like they hate everyone. thats not true!! japanese people are some of the most nice and freindly people there are out there. you might get a look or a gesture that someone might not like you but compared to america thats not bad. I would highly recomend you go to japan.

I know alot of black people who loves to go to Japan. I think it's fine. You're going to enjoy it there.

Hi!! You'll be fine and one thing you should keep in mind is that you will get a lot of stares, Japanese people are curious folks since Japan is 97% Japanese only. I went to Japan for my honeymoon 3 months ago while waiting for our flight there was a black guy from Vancouver, BC sitting across from me, I overheard him said that he went to Japan a couple of times because his fiance lives there and now he's moving there for good to be with her i'm assuming he must like it there too. I also heard before going to Japan is that Japanese girls love black guys which I found out to be true when i was there. As for Vietnam sorry I've never been there.

How do I send text message to Vietnam internationally

How do I send text message to Vietnam internationally? ?
I live in the US and I have a friend that live in Vietnam. She can send me text message to my phone and I would receive it but, I cant seem to send it to her. Every time I do send her a text, it says "message send" but she tell me she never receive it. I have T-Mobile, and is on a family plan if that does help.

+ 84 (area code) (phone number)
2 :
Put her phone number in your phone using the international code (001) 84 (Vn's country code) and her number. Then text away. (If you hold down the 0 key for a couple of seconds, it will flash a +. That is the international code. I text my wife almost every day. I added and A to the beginning of her name so that she is the first number in my phone.
3 :
check your other question. No doubt Rick's system works, as does the one I have written up for your other post.

You can be a flight attendant, but your probably gonna have to live in vietnam.
2 :
Well, just imagin you want to work for an American airline... You could do it in france, right? If you lived in france my guess is that you probobly could work on an american airliner, that goes from france to america. Working on a vietnamese airline would proboly be the same. I would imagin it being far more easy to live in vietnam, as your pay would be from the Vietnamese Airline. I would recoment you live in Vietnam, as it might be impossible for vietnam to pay you in america (they might refuse, since it might be a hassle for them).
3 :
Vietnam Airlines periodically posts advertisements in Vietnam News (the English language paper in VN) to recruit flight crew - they specify height, and other requirements. You might want to contact them directly - English language capabilities are useful. Air Asia and several other airlines serving Viet Nam have Vietnamese crew members - so contact any airlines that serves Ha Noi or HCMC. You might consider trying to get some training and experience with a smaller carrier in the US (or a bigger carrier, whichever is easier to get a job with) so that you approach VN Airlines as a trained flight crew member.
4 :
You may need Vietnamese citizenship or residency to work for them. You might also consider Cathay Pacific airlines, as they hire a lot of "speakers". Some of the US majors may be interested in you, such as the new Delta/Northwest, though hiring may be slow during the current gas crisis.

if you are using the Vietnamese version of Yahoo Messenger, then that's the reason you will be viewing Insider pop ups in Vietnamese Language. to change it to English, change the version of your messenger into English. be sure to choose the location "US/Englis-Region"
