How long does my cat need to be on Urinary diet food

How long does my cat need to be on Urinary diet food?
My cat has stones in his bladder and I was told he had to eat a special urinary biscuit food. Now I live in Vietnam so the communication is not so good. He said the cat had to eat it forever. But on the packet it says 5- 12 weeks or up to 6 months. Anyone had a similar diagnosis and what were you told?

If you take him off the diet, he may form new stones. It depends what kind of stones your cat has as to whether he'll be likely to form new ones and if the food will help prevent them. Some stones are caused by bacterial infection and if that's the kind of stones your cat has, the food wouldn't be helpful long-term. I suppose you have two options. You can keep him on it for several months and then take him off and see if the stones come back. Or you can see if you can catch a stone and if the vet can analyze it for you to see what the future is likely to be like.

My cat has had stones and is on urinary diet food too... My vet (here in the USA) told me that the cat would have to be on that food forever, unless I wanted to risk him developing stones again. So, he's been eating it for about 18 months now (and doesn't have anymore stones).

I need a quick cure for Lime deposits in the bath?

Use vinegar

CRX will rid your problem

You should be able to get vinegar, any type will do. Swab it on, leave a while then rinse. It will probably take a few applications. The other thing is soap scum, detergent will remove it. It would be particularly obvious on black tiles. Use the detergent treatment before the vinegar as the soap scum might protect the lime from the vinegar. You might need to scrub with a brush.

our black sink is easier to clean if the surface is absolutely dry before you start to clean it. wipe it out first. then wipe it using a face scrubbing cloth or a pot scrubber that is safe for Teflon pans so it won't scratch. after you have gotten the first layer off wipe the sink with a dry cloth again. take a lemon and cut it in half, coat it with salt, put some vinegar on the surface you are cleaning rub the area with the lemon and let it sit 5 - 10 minutes the lemon and vinegar will work on the calcium buildup, the salt acts as a mild abrasive. repeat as necessary baking soda works as a good mild abrasive that won't scratch the surface also.

I need to interview someone who lived during the Vietnam War. Anyone willing to help

I need to interview someone who lived during the Vietnam War. Anyone willing to help?
Hello. In my high school project, I have to interview a person who lived during the Vietnam War, but wasn't a veteran. I'd appreciate any answers from people who lived in that time. 1. What is your name? 2. What were your views on the war? 3. What was it like when the veterans returned? 4. Do you think the veterans deserved to be treated the way they were treated? 5. Any closing comments? Thank you for your help! :)

FInd a local old folks home and request for them to find people who are willing to help you out. I know most of them would love a visitor. You could help yourself and so many others that way.

Okay...here goes.... 1. What is your name? Gerald Cline 2. What were your views on the war? I supported the Truman Doctrine of containment. Vietnam was where the rubber hit the road in the 60s and early 70s. The place where Communism was being contained. I therefore supported the American effort in Vietnam. 3. What was it like when the veterans returned? I enlisted in the US Air Force in 1968 when the moderate wing of the liberal Democrats were still in charge. By the time I got home from Vietnam in 1970 Nixon had taken over, all the moderate/liberal Democrats had become born-again radical antiwar protesters, and I was spit on and called a baby-killer by the very people who had gotten us into the war to begin with. And yes, among other things I was actually involved in a spitting incident, so don't let the liberal revisionist historians tell you it never happened. I was there.... 4. Do you think the veterans deserved to be treated the way they were treated? No...and I'm still bitter about it. 5. Any closing comments? In the end the Communist overran all of what had once been Indochina. In the wake of their victory they murdered something in the neighborhood of 5,000,000 Southeast Asians consolidating their victory. Millions more were imprisoned and/or forced to flee. My reason for fighting against the Communists in Vietnam was to avoid this blood-bath I was sure would happen if they won. I was right, and do not feel like apologizing to anyone for my service at this time or place.

I remember most vividly hearing the nightly news proclaim "53 American solders were killed in the line of duty yesterday with Vietcong losses totaling more than 800" Even then as a small boy something didn't seem right about the disparage in the numbers. I was a senior in high school before I found out what I suspected then-that the number were total fantasy-just like everything else in the war. sp

Hello Happy We here in the Philippines either order garden soil or use palay husk and lumber saw dust. Many nurseries uses palay husks since this are cheaper and lighter to transport. In your recent questions you have been insinuating use of coco by-products as potting materials. I have been also using finely chopped coconut husks for my anthuriums and some of my bromeliads. But I add decompose animal manure (hog and chicken since these are available here in my place) in this potting materials. My plants appear healthy and my anthuriums blooming. In your case, since according to you you do not have any choice but to use your mixture and uses fertilizers as side dressing, that would be alright. Only be sure that your sand came from rivers and not from the sea shore where there will be salt mixed with the sand. When the coco peat starts to decompose that will add organic materials to your medium. I hope I have been of help.
