What kind of woods can use to smoke food in Vietnam

What kind of woods can use to smoke food in Vietnam?
Hi! i live in Vietnam. i like smoking foods very much. i want to make smoking foods my self but i do not know types of wood could be used. anyone know types of wood (grow in Vietnam) can use to smoke food.

i don't know the types of wood that grow in vietnam. you should use a hardwood tree for smoking. never use any type of pine tree. the pine tar emits a noxious gas when burnt and will ruin your food. to be safe, i would use a wood that has some sort of edible fruit or nut that grows on it.
